Milestone and MeCare. Learning. Connection.
NDIS self and plan managed | Melbourne

Every age. Every ability. Every milestone.

Friendly, reliable disability support in Melbourne's north. Our founders have spent over 10 years in disability support, special education and disability camps. Now they are building a small team that does support properly: the same faces, a clear plan, and days you look forward to.

  • Meet your worker before support starts
  • Clear goals and short progress notes
  • Fun days out with a camp spirit

Why we started Milestone and Me

Our founders have spent over 10 years supporting people from infants to mature adults, in special education, on disability camps, in supported independent living and one to one in the community.

They kept seeing the same thing. Support works when people know you well, when there is a plan, and when you get to try new things with people you trust. It falls apart when workers keep changing and every new face starts from scratch.

So they started Milestone and Me to do it differently.

What you can expect from us

We built Milestone and Me around the things that matter most to families.

  • The same faces. You meet your worker before support starts. Every person has a main worker and a backup they already know. No strangers at the door.
  • A real plan. We set clear goals, write a short note after each session and give you a one page summary each school term. Handy for plan reviews.
  • Ready for neurodivergent people. About me forms, visual schedules and social stories before the first visit, so nothing comes as a surprise.
  • Days worth looking forward to. Fun comes first. Confidence and skills grow along the way.
  • Fridays, weekends and public holidays. Support when school and work are done, plus school holidays and public holidays. Weekday evenings may be arranged.
  • Clear prices. Our rates are at or below the NDIS price limits, and they are on our website. Everything is agreed in writing first.

Who we support

Infants, children, young adults and mature adults, including people with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delay and psychosocial disability. Not sure if we are the right fit? Ask us. We will tell you honestly.

Paying for support

We support NDIS self managed and plan managed participants, and private clients.

How NDIS and private payment work

Getting started is easy

Four simple steps. Nothing starts until you are happy.

  1. Say hello

Call, email or send an enquiry. Tell us a bit about you or the person you care for. We reply on our next working day.

  2. Free meet and greet

Meet Deanna at home, in a café or by phone. No cost and no pressure.

  3. Agree the plan

Days, times, goals and costs go into a simple written agreement, so you know exactly what to expect.

  4. Get started

We start with things you already enjoy, then build from there. We check in regularly to make sure it is working.

Common questions

Do I need an NDIS plan?

No. We support NDIS participants who self manage or use a plan manager, and families paying privately.

Who started Milestone and Me?

Our founders have spent over 10 years supporting people from infants to mature adults, in special education, on disability camps, in supported independent living and one to one in the community. They match every worker and stay involved with each family.

Will we have the same worker each time?

Yes. That is the heart of how we work. Each person has one main worker and one backup, and you meet both before support starts. If your worker is sick, your backup steps in, not a stranger.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Not yet. We are working toward registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Until then we support self managed and plan managed participants, and we follow the NDIS Code of Conduct.

When are you available?

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Weekday evenings may be available by arrangement.
